The Sala Olimpia is our winter garden accessible from the AcquaViva Restaurant. Its name is inspired by a woman linked to the history of the Pamphili family. Olimpia Maidalchini in Pamphili was the example of a powerful woman, who was widowed very young and in 1612 she married Pamphilio Pamphili, of one of the most important families in Rome. The hall is bright, dotted with lush, green plants. Along the perimeter, a large window overlooks the greenery and the well-kept exteriors.

The Althea Veranda takes its name from Lady Mary Althea Beatrix Talbot, coming from one of the most important English Catholic families. In 1839, Althea married Prince Filippo Andrea V Doria Pamphilj, becoming the undisputed protagonist of the events concerning Villa Doria Pamphilj. This Veranda is the extension towards the outdoor swimming pool of the AcquaViva Restaurant. A very bright, elegant space, where the foliage, both of the design elements and the lush decorative plants, is the protagonist.

Passing the Veranda Altea, the Augusta terrace opens up, outdoors, overlooking the swimming pool. Surrounded by lemon trees, this sunny terrace, equipped with mamo tables and elegant rattan chairs, also bears a name inspired by a woman who marked the history of the Dorja Pamphili family, Emily Augusta Mary Pelham Clinton of the Dukes of Newcastle-under- Lyne. Augusta married Prince Alfonso in 1882, had three children and was involved in numerous charitable activities throughout her life. On this wonderful terrace, you can organize parties, receptions for ceremonies and aperitifs.

Our journey continues among the names of women in the history of the Pamphili family with Flaminia, daughter of Donna Olimpia Aldobrandini and Camillo Pamphili, Prince of San Martino and Valmontone. Flaminia first married Bernardino Savelli, Prince of Albano, and secondly Nicola Saverio Pallavicini, Prince of Civitella. From both marriages she had no children. We have dedicated our raised terrace to her, with a splendid view of the swimming pool, the ancient convent and the greenery all around. Furnished with elegant tables and chairs, protected from the sun with large umbrellas, it is perfect for aperitifs, refreshments to celebrate baptisms, communions and confirmations, birthdays, baby showers and graduation parties.
